Citi GCD Cleanup in Okinawa
「Chura Umi (Beautiful Ocean)+Chura Shima (Beautiful Island)=Chura Kukuru (Beautiful Heart)」
On November 8 (Sat), Citigroup Japan Holdings Corp. staff in Okinawa joined 2008 Citi Global Community Day Cleanup at Hanashiro Beach (Yaese Town, Okinawa, Japan).
The details of the cleanup will be reported in this blog anytime soon, but until then, enjoy the pictures taken during the cleanup! (Please click the picture below)
For results of the collected trash, click the picture below:
Following trash was also identified in "Other" section in "Debris Items of Local Concern" category in the data card (not counted as "Other" debris):
Non-begerage glass bottles: 15
Broken glass pieces: 1 trash bag full
Non-beverage cans: 3
Spray cans: 4
Wrist watch: 1
Alarm clock: 1
Non-beverage PET bottles: 2
Cardboard box: 1
Broken plastic pieces: 86
